Codex is a new watch brand under the wing of the famous Chronometric company. It recently launched some new watch models, including Codex Classic, Codex Chronograph and Codex Venus. These models share a cool-looking 41.5mm case crafted from stainless steel case. What differentiate them are those movements beating inside.

The Classic and Chronograph are quite straight forward. I love the intriguing design of the case and dial, though it maybe a bit too busy in eyes of some people. The bezel with chic checker arrangement is another shining point of the watch. The Classic is powered by a hand winding ETA 6498 movement that provides a small seconds display. Not sure why Codex did not fitted it with a self-winding movement. Luckily, the large crown is very easy to wind. The Chronograph is driveen by a d ETA Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph movement that has been slightly modifited. Besides the time, it provides a a moon phase indicator and a periphery style date indicator. The dial is perfectly symmetrical and looks petty nice.

The Venus comes with two versions: the Master and the Prestige. Both are limited editions , has partially skeletonized dials, and apply the classic Venus 203 hand wound movement. This vintage movement, with upgraded finishing, provides the time, annual calendar, and moon phase indicator.

The Master is limited to just 100 pieces and has a 18K rose gold case. The Prestige is almost same as the Master except that it has diamond-set sides and a different dial design. The Prestige is limited to 75 pieces only.

Last but not least, ladies can change handbags according to their mood. For instance, if they feel blue, handbags of bright color are the best choice psychologically, because this color will refresh them and make them feel better. In addition, frequent changes can prolong the lifespan of handbags.

When I am going to pay my bill or take out my purse, most of the cashiers would gaze at my purse with a freak expression floating on her/his face. It is not because my purse is outstanding, pretty or of a famous brand name, my purse is very ropey and unusable.

Ropey it is, I can not abandon it. It is a present from a friend. When I was a child, I was very lonely, my presents always moved house because of their work. When I moved to a new community, there was a lovely girl named Lucy leaved in the neighborhood. We spent our golden time together until I went to secondary school. After we separated with each other (because my presents went to another city), we wrote to each other. I had no intimate friend except her because I was always on the move with my presents and did not have time to make friends. But just because I have Lucy, I felt not alone.

Time crept without any traces. I can not imagine that we went to the same university six years ago after our separation. Then we were always together and I was just like her shadow. One day when we were shopping, a nice purse printed into my eyes. It was a leather one with delicate tassels and graceful embroidery. When I touched its body, I felt it very comfortable to the hand. "Do you like it?" Lucy asked me. I nodded my head. Then I brought a pink one for her and she brought a blue one for me.

Shortly after our shopping, on our way to our apartment, there was a car zigzaged like mad and rushed over us. At the very moment, I was freaked out. Then I felt I was pushed by a hand and fell over on the ground. When I came to myself, I found Lucy’s blood was all around her. Her left me forever. I was lonely again.

Since then, five years had past, I kept the purse with me just as if Lucy was still with me. My purse was older and I never thought to have a change. When I pay my bill or take out my purse, I would think how lucky I was when Lucy had been with me.

Yes, it is worthwhile to do everything for the person you love and I also understand that different people may have different views on purchasing. But we should take something into consideration before making any decisions. Can we really afford a three thousand yuan wallet? No. At least, for two young girls, just graduating from university without any extra savings, three thousand yuan means something more. When your landlady knocks on the door to ask for the next month’s rent or your friends ask you to have dinner in a restaurant or one of your family members need to do an operation but lacks an amount of money, you may realize that if only I didn’t use up all my money.

There are people who spend all their life savings to buy a house, but the two are in different situations. Putting all your savings into buying a house is acceptable, for savings are money you put aside for some emergencies on the base of guaranteeing the daily life, whereas using up the monthly salary to buy a wallet, which is not so important and necessary, is unacceptable especially when you don’t have some kind of purchasing power. That’s why people invent the mortgage and the credit card to allow people to use money ahead of time, but the two are with a purpose of guaranteeing your present life.

Then I also have another question that is what the function of the wallet is. The wallet is invented to keep money for people, isn’t it?  When you use up all money to buy a very luxurious wallet but then find that there is no more money to put in it, don’t you think that it is very ironic?

I don’t mean that the wallet is not worth buying. Rewarding yourself for your efforts with a very good wallet also enhances the passion of work, but only when you needn’t to worry about your accommodation or borrow money from your parents or friends, can you spend a month’s salary to buy something beyond your ability.

Another day, after Sally’s boyfriend’s birthday party, Sally told me I was right that her boyfriend was moved but blamed her for spending so much money without considering her own financial problem. Since then, Sally has become a very good habit of spending each yuan, though she still will spend three thousand yuan buying a bag.

Once upon a time, my bag was broken, and I have to go out to buy something. It was quite awkward that I had to put my personal things in one of my friends’ bag. From then on, I realized that one should prepare at least 2 bags.

Generally speaking, bags can be defined into several kinds. For example, bags used for working; bags used for business; bags used for shopping; bags used for dinning party etc. Different bags should be used in different situation. It can be regarded as bad manner if you take a wrong bag on a certain occasion. People may think you are impolite if you take a dinning party bag to an office. A bag shows your attitude towards life and job.

Last but not least, different clothes should be suited with different bags. Most of us have clothes in different colors. If you dress yourself in bobtail, while taking with a big bag, it will look odd.

In conclusion, women need more than one bag. We need at least another bag in the case of one bag being broken; we need another bag in different cases; we need another bag to fit with our clothes.
